This morning -and after having downloaded a suspicious file (as I now realize)- suddenly the default homepage of my Internet Explorer was changed to and I failed to delete it. I deleted it from the homepage section but it can add itself to the homepage automatically next time I restart the browser. Using the task manager I tried to locate any suspicious processes and but nothing was found. Firefox’s initial page was also hijacked and I managed to reset it (it seems ok for now). I also removed all other Firefox extensions except adblock. However, I did nothing to correct any problems with IE yet. I also uninstalled the last software I downloaded. The unwanted site is still there on the IE homepage. How can I get rid of it?
